Plant wall 0.1 is a conceptual prototype of a plant wall that would live within learning spaces designed to go flat against an entire wall, with a built in water fertilising filtration system, the wall is designed to grown into the space creating a wall of plants (foliage).from which you wouldn't have to do much maintenance to.The concept of the wall is looking into the idea of nurture vs nature but nurturing through nature creating an environment not only where people can learn but where they can grow along side the plants.the prototype itself was not without issues as the design itself needs rethinking as the type of wood would need to be stronger perhaps a treated timber of some kind, the weight of the soil would need to be considered and the overall construction.

many studies show that the effects of plants within indoor environments not only aid in releasing symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety but also increase learning, productivity and calm. I believe not only would this wall be beneficial to all age ranges in a variety of learning spaces (not just schools) to be used as a tool for creative learning but would also create a sense of community within those spaces also as collectively maintaining the wall will bring people together creating further conversation within those environments also.
