Yellow is a powerful and emotive colour, a colour that sparks huge emotional turmoil within every inch of my body. I have used this colour as a metaphor for understanding myself with anautobiographical response. Delving into the darkest areas of my mind methodologically. Tapping into my own human psyche understanding the way in which my mind and body connect and react to situations.

 

Hetian Patel, Neha Choksi and Oliver Desagazan have hugely inspired my practice, their use of performance to create an emotive reaction, combined with the use of film particularly the play with film within their work has been decisive within the process of creating my final piece.

 

Collaborating with Joel and Lucas two contemporary dancers has been fundamental to create an emotive yet powerful performance encompassing my own emotional answer through space, ribbon and dance.
